Mandate is a collective of men working to become more emotionally intelligent, vulnerable, and healed of trauma through communal self-inquiry and ritual activities.

A Mandate Session is our monthly in-person gathering in Seattle, WA, typically on a Wednesday evening. They last around two hours and usually include a theme, an acitvity and time for open share. Sometimes the whole session is centered around ritual work, like sound healing or breathwork. Regular sessions are free to attend, but some of the special ritual session are on a sliding cost scale. Nobody will ever be turned away for lack of funds.

No, but we encourage you to try. We’re all about creating a safe, loving environment for emotional vulnerability. If you took the time to show up to a group session, we hope you’ll dive in a little deeper with us.

Currently, we just hold monthly in-person sessions in Seattle, WA. We’re workijng on planning our first-ever Mandate Retreat and adding in virtual offerings, so stay tuned for more information.

We are open to all folx who identify as men, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or spiritual/religious beliefs.

We believe that men need to commit to the work of personal growth and healing in a safe, loving, judgement free environment. We only allow men to participate because we are endeavoring to break cycles of unhealthy masculinity in our society and that work lays on the shoulders of men.
